September is approaching very quickly and for many Apple fans around the world, that signals the release of the iPhone 7. We’ve covered this topic multiple times and have already spoken about the major changes, such as the rumoured removal of the classic 3mm headphone jack in favour of Apple’s infamous Lightning Connector. A bit more information has leaked to the public regarding the phone’s design! If you're planning on getting an iPhone 7, make sure you're ready to keep it protected by getting a personalised phone case!
Now don’t get over excited, it’s not anything drastic. In fact, it’s quite bad news for Apple fans. It’s commonly known that Apple changes its iPhone design every 2 years. The iPhone 4 and 4S were released with the same design in 2010 and 2011. The following 2 years, the iPhone 5 and 5S were released with a refreshing design. And in 2014 and 2015, the latest generation iPhones 6 and 6S hit the market. So it’s obviously expected that Apple changes the design for it’s newest variation, right? Wrong.
Apple has decided to change it up a little and alter their design cycle. As previously mentioned, Apple always changed the phone’s designs every 2 years, but according to rumours, they will be extending that to a 3 year cycle. If these rumours are to be believed, the iPhone 7S will be next in line to get a makeover.
But don’t fret, because Apple will still make some changes to this year’s design. The iPhone 7 will most likely sport a glass back, similar to the iPhone 4 back in the day.
Additionally, news of another iPhone model being released has come out of the woodworks, labelled as the iPhone 7 Pro. Normally, Apple releases the regular model and a PLUS model. However according to the following picture, an iPhone with the PLUS’s size will be released with a dual-lens camera. These types of cameras are becoming more and more popular, so it’s obvious that Apple would offer a phone packed with it.
So what do you think? Is this iPhone picture real or fake? Also, what do you think about Apple’s design choice.
