The new iPad (2017): Highlights

Good news, the price will be lower! The product is available for sale on March 24 (pre-order) on Apple's website. Its price starts at £ 329. The new iPad (2017) integrates a more powerful processor and navigation is faster. In addition, the screen is brighter than the previous model. The quality is as good as the Pro model, with a 9.7-inch screen and a resolution of 2.048 x 1.536 pixels, or 264 pixels per inch! Small improvements have been done in the applications and the software, which are more integrated and easier to use.

The new iPad works with the latest Apple IOS 10 update and the A9 chip, the same as for iPhone 6S. This means it is faster than the iPad Air 2 (which works with the A8 chip). The base storage is 32 GB, but it will also be available in 128 GB.

Regarding the battery, Apple promises 10 hours of battery life during normal use (web searches, music, wi-fi, video ...) on this new model. It is available in 3 colours: silver, gold and grey sidereal.

The new iPad (2017): Weaknesses

The new tablet is slightly thicker and heavier than its predecessor. With 7.5 mm thick and 469 grams, it has the same size as iPad Air 1 (2013). The new iPad should replace the "Air" collection, but with little has changed. A small step back for Apple.
