YouTube has taken another step in its development. As of late, you could watch videos, follow your favourite YouTubers and see every day news published. Now, YouTube has launched YouTube Community, which aims to improve the relationships between the video creators and their subscribers, so that they can feel more involved with the whole video viewing experience.
YouTube does not integrate social feature, such as Instagram and Facebook within the site itself, so it's letting uploaders use this new feature to keep their followers up to date with the latest videos published.
What exactly is Community? It is a simple tab on the string of a YouTuber, where you can communicate with the YouTuber in question and all other subscribers of the channel, share videos and add your comments.
The new YouTube Community tab only works in beta for now on the following channels: John & Hank Green, Rosianna Halse Rojas, The Game Theorists, The Key of Awesome, AsapSCIENCE, The Kloons, Lilly Singh, Peter Hollens, Sam Tsui , Threadbanger and VSauce3.
By going on one of these channels, you will find the Community tab and disclosures made by the YouTuber, as well as comments and likes / dislikes.
The posts also appear under "Subscriptions" users, which creates a kind of Facebook wall. It is also possible to enable notifications to be notified when a YouTuber publishes something new.
For now, only the most famous YouTubers can activate this new feature, but in a few months everyone with a YouTube channel will benefit from Community and publish their news.
What do you think of this new Community feature? Let us know how you feel in the comments below! At GoCustomized your opinion matters.
